Handsome and sensible Dressage/Allround gelding

Hartpury Ferro
chestnut, Sport Horse gelding, born 13/03/06
Reg SHB(GB), microchipped, regulary wormed, trimmed (shod front) and vaccinated. Height 16.2h, still growing

Ferro is a sensible, uncomplicated and very charismatic young lad who is bred for Dressage, enjoys and shows good capacity for SJ, will probably also do well hunting.

He is very well composed with excellent rhythmic movements & balance. Ferro is the “leader of the gang” in the field but he is very friendly to people and has always been easy to handle. He has a very positive attitude to anything he is asked to do and has a very mature personality for his age.
Ferro is used to walker, and is good to load in trailer. He was backed in late May 09, ridden/hacked out over summer and then turned away. He started schooling in late spring 2010 and is very trainable. He has competed twice in dressage so far, just to gain experience and not expected to score high as he still is green, but placed 5th both times with very good comments from the judges!

Ferro has now fulfilled his purpose for our students so he needs to move on. Price tag £5000 but we are open to offers from the right home.

15hh 5yo dun mare.

Ollie is a full up 15.3 chestnut TB gelding who has been with us for 4 years.

Ollie is extremely contented and laid back whether pottering round the lanes with me on our own, galloping across the hills with my daughter and friends or taking part in pony club activities. He has competed in local shows and loves cross country where he has twice won in the pairs. Larry is a real people loving boy who is just dying to do more. I bought him as totaly untouched and he has come on so quickly, he lunges, longreins and is happy for me to mount him and sit on him. He is used to farm traffic and grazes beside the train track where he is totaly uninterested in trains zooming past. He is not spooky and is gentle to handle. I have taken him as far as I can now as I have no one to lead me around on him. He moves beautifuly and would do really well showing or dressage. He would also become a really nice allrounder. I am very fond of this special horse so a loving home is important.

Swino is a very friendly and affectionate horse. He raced on the flat in his very early life and proved too slow! He was then turned away for a few years and was brought back into work slowly. Fantastic temperament, excellent manners, great clip/bath/farrier/load/hack. Great with kids, dogs, quad bike, really part of the family. Very well schooled, never bucked or reared. Fantastic bold jump. Has done in the past all RC activities, showjumping, dressage.

Not novice ride as strong in company and likes to be lead horse, so not really suitable to lead kids ponies from. He does have sweetitch but manageable with fly rugs, (I keep him hogged).

Perfect Gentleman - Inca is a 15’2 welsh section D X

We are looking for a quiet experienced home for this very special horse. He has had a busy life, and now seeks a friend who will love him and look after him and enjoy riding him. He is 17 years old, although he has plenty of life left in him and he looks great. He is very easy to look after, has fantastic manners, gets on with other horses and doesn’t mind dogs. He hacks out on his own and with others. He loads, travels,he is good to shoe and catch, I can’t think of any negatives about this lovely horse. It is a very sad sale, I am going to university and I can’t afford to keep him whilst I am studying, which will be for the next 4 years. I have looked at alternatives but I think finding him a home for life is the fairest thing I can do, for him! He is a sensitive boy and a nice sensitive, experienced rider would be required. Coloured yearling for sale.

Sahara is a beautifully put together, well balanced filly with stunning conformation, charisma and presence. She has three very good paces, shows brilliant attitude to loose jumping and has a lovely temperament.

Whilst she could excel in any sphere, she could be a top prospect as a show horse to show in hand as a sporthorse or a show hunter, aiming to qualify Cuddy (HOYS) 2011 or 2012. Sahara could go on to be a top ridden prospect, either as a show hunter or working hunter, but could also have a career as a Dressage horse or Show Jumper. After her competition career she will make a valuable broodmare.

Oldest sister by Padinus was Futurity Finalist 2008, with 1st Premium in SJ and Dressage. Perfect companion
Shadow is a 15.1h cob gelding. He's fully retired due to navicular. Due to a change in circumstances I need to find a home for my handsome garden ornament. He's a beautiful boy, goes black in the winter and in the summer changes colour to a gorgeous bluey silver but keeps his thick black mane and tail. He gets on well with mares and geldings. He's very low maintenance as he's a good doer but isn't prone to laminitis. He's bright and a bit cheeky. I tend to lead him in a Dually halter as, although he's not got a bad bone in his body, he can get a bit enthusiastic sometimes.
He can't be ridden anymore because of his condition, and some days he's a bit tottery in the field (normally if he's been having a hooley the day before), but normally he's fine and likes to have a sedate canter around every day to stretch his legs!! He isn't on any medications or supplements and has never had any other ailments or illnesses apart from his lameness.
He's a gorgeous boy and it’s a heartbreaking thing to have to do, but I'm hoping someone is looking for a friend for their horse who would enjoy his personality as much as I have.

Lovely companion

Micky is an 8 year old gelding who very sadly can no longer be ridden due to injury and is therefore looking for a new home as a companion.
